Cameron’s Beach General Rules/Policies 2017
CAMPING SEASON: is from May 15 to September 15. Water, power and washrooms only available during this period.QUIET HOURS: Are from 11pm to 8am. This is a family campground and no unreasonable noise/music will be tolerated. Drunkness or noisy parties will not be tolerated at any time of day.
LIABILITY: The owners and staff at Cameron’s Beach Campground DO NOT accept liability for accidents or injury of any kind, resulting from use of the grounds and facility of the park.
INSURANCE: It is the seasonal campers responsibility to have adequate trailer and liability insurance. Your insurance policy needs to be filled out on your License to Occupy. Please notify office of any changes to your insurance policy. Cameron’s Beach Campground will not be held responsible or liable for any property damage, injury, fire, collision or theft. The use of campground facilities for you, your family and your guests is at your own risk.
CLEANLINESS OF SITE: Your site MUST be kept clean and tidy at all times. No junk piled up behind your trailer.
VISITORS: All visitors and guests must register and pay the nominal daily fee ($2 per person) at the office before attending the visiting site. If they do not then the guests fee will be added to the seasonal owners bill. Guests must follow the same rules as the campers and the seasonal lot owner will be responsible for their guests and behaviours. Visitors must leave park by 11:00pm. If you have an overnight guest, they must register their name and pay the $5 overnight guest fee. If you wish your visitor to park at your trailer then one of your vehicles must be parked outside the gate.
WASHROOMS: are open 24 hours a day. Please help keep it clean. Sand must be removed from the bathers before entering the washrooms. Small children must be accompanied by an adult. Please let the office know if they are dirty.
SHEDS AND DECKS: See Lot Improvement Sheet Attached.
DOGS: Dogs are not allowed in the beach area or washrooms. Max. 2 dogs per site. They must be kept on a leash at all times and poop and scoop policy is in place.Excessive barking will not be tolerated. You may bring your dog to swim in the boat launch area only. Please provide a photo of your pets so if they are loose in the park we can track down who they belong to.
CAMPFIRES: Campfires MUST be attended at all times and extinguished before retiring for the night. Fires are allowed in provided firepits only or approved fireplaces. Fire pits cannot be relocated to another location. Please ensure that your pit is far enough away from neighbouring trailers and trees.
SEWAGE: Cooking grease, disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, javex, vinegar, pickle juice etc, are not to be put in sewage system. A dump station is available at no charge to campers. We will dump for a nominal fee. Trailers without sewer hook-ups are allowed to put grey water ONLY into the ground if it is in a submerged pail with rocks. At no time is sewage allowed in the ground. Please do not dump near meal times.
GARBAGE: All garbage must be placed in a sealed plastic bags and placed in the dumpster UNDER the tarp. Do not place in litter cans. Other garbage such as furniture, auto parts, lawn chairs, wood and steel are NOT to be placed in the dumpster “FOOD GARBAGE ONLY”. If there is other garbage besides food garbage in the bin we will place it on your deck to be disposed of at the dump by yourself. You may purchase a town dump pass for $10/year at the Iroquois Falls Town Hall, you will need a receipt from me before going to get your pass. We will be getting recycle bins..please follow the list provided to put in bins
RESPECT FOR NATURE: Please respect our trees- removal of bark, axe cuts or nails shorten their lives. Dead or dangerous trees may only be cut with the approval of management.
PICNIC TABLES: are your responsibility for paint and repairs. We no longer supply tables.
CAMPSITE: All sites must be kept clean and well groomed at ALL times. No storage of boats, trailers, material or clutter behind sheds. If there is grass on your property it must be maintained. We do not supply equipment for grooming. If your site is not cleaned up after you have been talked to, we will clean it up or cut grass and your site will be charged $15 clean up fee. Also, trailers are to be occupied by the REGISTERED camper only! Lending or renting your trailer is NOT allowed.
SITE PARKING/VEHICLES: Only registered vehicles will be allowed in the park. One card per vehicle and there is a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. Some sites only have room for 1 vehicle. Guests park outside the gate and walk in. Please advise your guests of this policy. If you would like your guest to park at your trailer then you need to park your vehicle outside the gate. Special circumstances may apply if the guest has trouble walking but please discuss with management ahead of time. Card Passing is NOT allowed. If you think you’re getting away with it, smile cause your on camera and each card swipe is registered. Your guest fee will apply to your site. We are more than approachable if you need to let someone in to drop off and go back out to park.
GOLF CARTS: Golf carts are permitted in the park but please be warned that they still carry the same warnings as driving a vehicle. Driving a golf cart while intoxicated is just as dangerous for the driver, passengers and bystanders as it is in a car. The same rules apply within the park as they do on public roads. (no open alcohol in the vehicle, no drinking and driving, etc...) In August of 2009, a man was charged, by the police, with driving while intoxicated after he struck a 5-year-old girl. He was driving a golf cart in a private campground near Ottawa. NO CHILDREN may drive the golf carts. Standing on the back or sides of golf cart while in motion is prohibited. This is for safety reasons. Only those with a valid driver’s license may drive. The exception for this would be the workers at the campground only. There is a reserved spot down by the beach for golf carts, please to not block the boat launch turnaround and golf carts are NOT permitted to be parked on the beach or near the water.
BOATS: Parking for boats at this time are at a first come, first come basis. All boats, kayaks and paddleboats must be registered at office. You may bring them home or park outside the gate down the road NEATLY and NOT in Car Parking by gate. If you park your boat/boat trailer on your lot, it is considered one of your vehicle spots.
ATV’s: are only to be used to exit the park and to do trailer dumps. No driving around the park on your ATV. Kids ATV’s are included in this rule.
INTERNET: Internet service is provided for your luxury. There is only so much bandwidth and if people are watching movies, it will slow things down so please be patient. We do not fix the internet for any troubles you may be having.
BEACH: Cameron’s Beach has a “NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY” policy. Parents are responsible for their own children. There will be no swimming after dark and no glass containers allowed on the beach.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All seasonal campers must pay a one time deposit of $200. This money is returned upon leaving the park with a zero balance and no damages to property.
**PAYMENT: Payment shall be made with a pre-arranged payment schedule and/or paid in Full by first opening weekend. For 2017 it is no later than May 21. It can be paid by cash, cheque, debit c ard, e-transfer or direct deposit to account # 62205 at the Caisse Populaire in Iroquois Falls. If final payment is not received by the due date, there will be a $50 late fee and Cameron’s Beach Campground management reserves the right to charge late fees at 1.0% interest per week. After September 15th if your lot is still not paid, your site will NOT be guaranteed for the following camping season and there will be an Admin Fee of $50. **If you need to make arrangements for the following summer please do so ASAP, we are more than willing to work with you to get your lot paid by the deadline.
HYDRO: Seasonal Campers are responsible for their own hydro and will be billed twice a season. Please come and pay on July 1st and September 1st. We do not send bills so please come to office and get amount to pay. September 1st hydro bill needs to be paid by September 15th. The remainder of seasons’ hydro bill (Sept 1-15th) will be added to the following summer.

TERMINATION/POLICY ON VIOLATIONS: This is a privately owned campground and we reserve the right to select our campers and visitors. Any infraction of the park rules will result in camping privileges being revoked and charges will be applied for any damage. The management reserves the right to eject without notice or refund any objectionable person who causes a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.
1st: Verbal warning; 2nd: a written warning; 3rd: termination of camping privileges. Depending on the severity of the violation, a first time rules and regulations violation may be subject to termination of camping privileges.

Design and location of improvements must be approved PRIOR to construction by Cameron’s Beach Campground management. Lot improvements are only permitted on seasonal lots. All items constructed by campers are to remain portable and removable at all times. Any items found to be beyond set limits will result in request to dismantle.
- ● Each lot is permitted one (1) lockable storage shed to protect seasonal campers’ personal property

- ● Automobile tents and carports are not allowed
- ● Sleep cabins are NOT allowed
- ● Decks are to be the same length as your trailer maximum (not including the tongue) by a maximum 10 ft deep
- ● No roofs over trailer are allowed

- ● Only purchased Add-A-Room or Gazebos are permitted..Effective 2017 Season...current
rooms are grandfathered in but make sure to check Trailer Sales to see what is permitted when selling.
